“4th time as Chief Minister… yet a common party worker!”

Amaravati (NTR Bhavan): Despite assuming office as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for the fourth time, TDP supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu once again set an example by remaining firmly rooted in his political origins. His participation in the Parliament Committees workshop held at the party headquarters, NTR Bhavan, has drawn widespread appreciation from party workers, who feel that his conduct has given a new meaning to leadership.

The workshop, organised at the TDP central office with the participation of 1,050 committee members from 25 Parliament committees, featured training sessions conducted by senior party leaders under the guidance of the party high command. What stood out, however, was the presence of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu not as a special guest, but as a common party worker, which captured everyone’s attention.

Chandrababu Naidu personally visited the rooms where the workshop sessions were in progress and, instead of occupying the front rows, sat in the last row, attentively listening to the training classes. His keen observation of what the leaders were explaining, the guidance being given to the committees, and the overall conduct of the sessions became a rare and noteworthy sight in contemporary politics.

The Chief Minister also attended the training session conducted by former minister Pattipati Pullarao for the newly appointed Parliament Committee presidents. Though he is the party president and a four-time Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu’s participation in the programme with the mindset of an ordinary party worker stood as a testimony to internal democracy within the TDP.

From the start of the workshop in the morning, Minister Nara Lokesh remained at the party office, visiting every room and interacting with committee members. Chandrababu Naidu too moved among different groups, engaging with party workers and listening to their views. Party cadres described this as a sincere effort to strengthen the organisation from the grassroots level.

Party leaders and workers remarked that Chandrababu Naidu’s conduct reflected the principle that a leader must not only speak, but also listen. His willingness to learn even while holding the highest executive office, coupled with his continued commitment to the party, is being seen as what sets him apart as a leader.

Political observers noted that through this workshop, Chandrababu Naidu not only focused on strengthening the party structure but also once again demonstrated what true leadership looks like.
